Babies on board. Spring/Summer 2025 waiting list open.
Kittens on board but they will all be spoken for by the waiting list. If you would like information on the wait list contact me. Estimated wait for a female is 6-8 WEEKS and 6-8 months for a male. Please understand that it can be unpredictable. These are our best estimates.
Please reach us at baromainecoons@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Kittens for 2025 will be $3000. All Bar O Maine Coons leave fully vaccinated (core vaccines + rabies). They will be parasite free, spay/neutered. They will come with shot records, TICA registration, microchipped, health letter/certification from a licensed veterinarian. They will also come with 30 days free health coverage through Trupanion as well as lifetime support from Bar O Maine Coons. We take responsibility for our kittens throughout their lives. If there is ever an issue please let us know and we will walk through it with you. The health and well being of our kittens is our top priority.
Yes. It fluctuates throughout the year and typically moves quickly through the Spring/Summer. The current wait time going into the 2023-2024 winter season is very short. We had unusually large Summer litters and wiped the wait list almost completely out. Please understand that I have no control over the number or sex of kittens born in any given litter. These are my best estimates based on what I know about my cats. Please call/text/email for details on the waiting list.
No. I do not ship kittens cargo. I am happy to meet at the DFW(Dallas/FtWorth) international airport. If you choose to fly and pick up a kitten to carry home in cabin, then that can be accommodated. My Dad acts as my courier by driving kittens all over the USA for me. He does this at a very reasonable cost. Kittens only go directly from our hands to yours.
No.
No. I won’t get on a soapbox here but declawing is a breach of contract and can cause irreparable behavioral issues as well as lifelong pain. If claws are a problem for you, please check your local shelters for cats that have already been declawed. They tend to wind up there because of the afore mentioned behaviors. Do not attempt to proceed with adopting a Bar O Maine Coon.
Not from Bar O Maine Coons. All of our kittens are purebred. It is insanely expensive to raise healthy well adjusted Maine Coons and to do it well. TICA registration is part of the deal.
Please note that kitten prices are subject to change Jan. 1 each year. This is to account for food and vet care cost increases. It is reevaluated each year. If you are on the waitlist and offered a kitten but decline. It is assumed that you understand costs could go up at this time. If you are on the waitlist and not offered a kitten during that time you will not be subject to the increase the following January.
